At The Garage Store we understand the importance of your time and will utilize the time that you have in the most efficient manner possible. Installation time depends on the scope of the project but most take only a day.

 

 

 

 

Shipping & Returns
Returns
The Garage Store markets products that are often shipped directly from the manufacturer. In some cases manufactured goods are in inventory at our location and shipped directly to you. Because of this we are unable to accept returns. We strive to exceed our customers' expectations and we will attempt to assist in helping with returns to the manufacturer to the extent made possible by the manufacturer. In the event that we are able to arrange a return to the manufacturer, you will be credited the amount of the purchase less delivery costs and restocking fees which for some manufacturers may be as much as 50%. The customer is responsible for all cost associated with the return of products including shipping and insurance. In the event we agree to accept a return, credit will only be issued if the product is unopened and in perfect retail condition. Sorry, but we cannot accept returns of any kind of custom products. Additionally, will not accept returns on any products that have been used or for garage flooring. If the return is due to an error on our part, we'll refund 100% of the sales price and shipping costs. In the event that a return is authorized the customer must obtain a return authorization number. Manufacturer Defects
Not withstanding the above, if you have a product that is defective on receipt we will work with the manufacturer to have it replaced. Such defects must be reported within 10 days of receipt.

General Delivery Information
The delivery times mentioned are our best estimates and may be subject to delay due to, but not limited to any of the following reasons: temporary inventory shortage, an act of God, weather conditions, loss in transit, method of payment, address verification, order discrepancy, non-receipt of order due to electronic or clerical issues, material shortages, or improper information.  The Garage Store, LLC. affiliates, employees, and suppliers are not responsible for damages caused by the delay of any shipment.  Products are shipped via the cheapest method, which may be common carrier and may require the assistance of the customer to unload.  Large freight trucks may not be able to access small driveways or tight spaces. It is the homeowner's responsibility to make sure the driver can access their location.

Floor Protection Products
Floor protection products are shipped from Emporia, KS and Richmond, VA.  Standard orders take 5 to 10 business days to process, pull and package.  Orders are shipped FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, Airborne Express, or common carrier. Tracking numbers will be provided as they become available.  Custom orders and all non-standard sizes can take 3-5 weeks to cut.  Please be aware that 10' standard and HD grade products may be shipped common freight.  In the event your order is shipped common freight you may be required to unload the truck.  Common freight trucks are often large tractor-trailers. It is your responsibility to ensure they have access to your property. Lift gate Delivery can often be arranged for an additional charge.

Garage Storage Products
Garage Storage Products and Accessories are drop shipped from our vendor(s).  Often these products will come in multiple shipments.  Orders that are in stock are typically shipped within 2 or 3 business days.  Backorders can take 3-4 weeks to fill. In the event of a backorder you will be contacted. Orders will ship via Common Carrier, Freight, UPS or FedEx ground.  In some instances the homeowner may be required to help unload the truck.  Some orders may arrive in separate shipments on separate days.

Flat Fee Shipping/Shipping Charges
Garage Storage Products
In an attempt to make the shipping maze simple The Garage Store, LLC. has implemented a Flat Fee Shipping Policy. A Flat Fee of $25.00 will be charged on all orders for Garage Storage Products and Accessories with the exception of the products identified as oversized or those that are required to be shipped via motor freight.  These products will have the additional charge indicated.  If no additional charge is indicated shipping will be charged at the $25.00 flat rate.

Floor Protection Products & Garage Cabinets*
Due to both the size and weight of these products they are often shipped via common carrier. Unfortunately with the cost of fuel and other transportation factors, shipping rates are in a constant state of flux. Often times there is a fuel surcharge, which is added to normal freight charges. Lift-gate Delivery can often be arranged and will incur an additional charge. The customer is solely responsible for all additional lift-gate delivery charges. Please indicate any special instructions on your order.

Due to their size the 8' store WALL anels are considered oversized by the freight companies. Consequently they are more expensive to ship.  A good alternative would be the 4' panels, which can be shipped at regular rates.

Damaged Goods or Incorrectly Shipped Goods
In the event that you receive goods that are damaged or incorrect, you must notify us via fax, email, or US mail within 24 hours.  Failure to do so may result in your claim being denied.  You may be required to provide a picture.  In the event that replacement merchandise is sent prior to defective or damaged merchandise being shipped; or in the event of failure to return over-shipments (due to lost and then found merchandise), or damaged product, your credit card may be charged and then refunded after the problem is corrected.  The Garage Store, LLC shall have the right to replace or refund, at its option, any missing, damaged or incorrectly shipped goods and the customer shall take all reasonable actions to facilitate the exchange of any damaged, missing or incorrectly shipped goods. We will work with you to help address the situation and provide whatever assistance we can.  The Garage Store cannot be held responsible for shipment damage.
